Many Tesla coilers and hobbyists rely on the IF-D95T optical receiver for optical isolation of their devices. Unfortunately this is a rather expensive component ($8.91/ea as of 2026). Our fiber optic receiver is a drop-in replacement for the IF-D95T footprint and pinout. The main difference is that ours operates at 935nm which for most optical outputs using infrared or red light is close enough. In addition, aluminum shielding is added to protect the internal sensor from EMI.
